PSALM 21

King David's, success was unparalleled in the ancient world...a relentless warrior, master general, wise diplomat, skillful musician and poet. There was a great deal to honestly boast about on his resume! But listen carefully to Psalm 21. David credits God with all his success! "O Lord the king rejoices in your strength. How great is his joy in the victories you give!"..."For the king trusts in the Lord..."

O that each of us would follow in the poet's humble words... and give God the glory for all we have...How can a flower take the credit for it's beauty? If even the bloom speaks up for God's creative majesty, surely we can give God a shout of praise and thanksgiving!
