1968 Germany

The year was 1968. I graduated College and went on a educational trip to Europe with college friends and professors. Here is the former coal barge that was our home for a week as we floated down the Rhine River and yes that is me standing on the barge.

Throw Back Thursday

I never knew my grandmother Lena, but we did have our photos taken in the same spot! ... The location is very near the Old Darlington Homestead, (in Chester County PA),  where my mother was born. A BIG thank you to the  extended Serum family who have granted my family the privilege to visit this important site in our family's history.

BACK ROADS

On my way home from a great weekend conference in Knoxville TN. I took the scenic route and found myself on some dirt roads as I navigated between Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia.

Georgia Birds

Traveling through Georgia I stopped to watch this flock of vultures? Or at least I think they are vultures! Whatever they carry themselves with grace and beauty.

Framed photos from African trip

I gave several photos to the graphic artist at the photo store and she arranged them in a poster layout. She decided the size of each one. I was surprised to find this cape buffalo having the dominant spot. He is an ugly old guy with a menacing look... he was sniffing us to see if we were a threat to him.

RUNNING IN CIRCLES?

Instead of running in circles, stop and find God's direction for your life. A good place to start - be kind to the person behind you in the circle!

RELIVING AFRICA

I pulled out my original photos from my African trip this past February. Looked at photos that did not make the cut from 4500 to 250 photos.... And I still feel pulled into Africa with each shot. Here are a few.
Female Kudu: "And where did you come from? "
