"May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;"
may God's power and authority protect you.
May God send you help from the storehouse of his glory and power.
May God remember all the sacrifices you made
on behalf of others in the name of your Lord.
"May God grant you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed."
The Psalm comments, your friends will shout for joy
when you win a victory in life. They will lift up banners {or in this case, glasses} and shout for joy in the name of their God!
May this be your prayer and may you have a bunch of Christian friends to go with it!
