JOHN 15:18-27
People say they are "spiritual" or they acknowledge the "Spirit" working in the world. But they make no claim to know or commit themselves to Christ. Take note of these words of Jesus, "When the Counselor {Holy Spirit} comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me." One of the Holy Spirit's main roles is to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of the world. I really don't think you can claim to know the Spirit of God, without acknowledging Jesus the Son.
