According to an eyewitness who was a close personal friend, Jesus had all authority in heaven and earth. On this last night before his death, what would Jesus do with such power? He took off his outer garment, wrapped a towel around his waist and acting as a common slave, bent down before each disciple and washed their feet. This striking act of humility was an example for each of us to go and do likewise. With humility we are called to bend our selfishness in order to care for others...listen deeply to others...honor them above ourselves. If that is our business, how is business?
