I love me new car, 2013 Ford Focus "Titanium" hatchback. I call him "Kit" after the Knight Rider car! He is very techie! How do we go from liking stuff to actually worshiping things? This is an amazing song that clearly speaks the truth about idols: "They have mouths but cannot speak, eyes but cannot see, ears but cannot hear... Those who make them will be like them." In other words, when we worship things, including new cars,  we become as lifeless and fragile as the things we worship. So I will enjoy my Titanium techie car, but I will trust Jesus Christ with and for my life.
