Have you ever wandered in a desert like wasteland, sat in the darkness of the soul, or felt lost in a storm? I have been to a few of those "places"... felt the pain, confusion and at times fear. But just as this psalm reveals, I discovered that God's love and compassion always overcomes every obstacle and storm. ... "he lifted the needy out of their affliction..." No matter the size or intensity of your current storm, Jesus Christ is sufficient to pull you through and make you stronger.
