PSALM 116

 Listen to these lyrics "the cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow." Have you ever felt like that? I can think of at least a half a dozen times when I was deeply overwhelmed by life. And like the writer of this psalm, each time the Lord heard my call for mercy and help... each time God used those very same grim circumstances to bring me strength and wisdom.  Indeed, I too love the Lord! How about you?
