MOVING #$%&@*

There are many things I miss about my teenage "horse days" ... One is managing the stable ... filling a wheelbarrow beyond full with horse manure, is an acquired skill! Finding the right load balance to move it from stable to manure pile- was no easy task. This picture was taken a few years ago at my nephew's home in State College, PA. The RTPC on the side of the wheelbarrow stood for Rose Tree Pony Club. This was the official wheelbarrow of my team at Three Day Events. Yes, Jeff inherited Aunt Linda's manure mover!

Memorial Day 2014

We thank our brave military men and women who lost their lives serving our country. And we pray for their families as they grieve the death of dear ones. Our land stands still this day to honor those who's sacrifice makes the freedom of this day possible.

are you feeling rusty?

Are you feeling shut down... worn out ... unable to get yourself going? Consider this -

"Humble yourself under God's mighty hand, that God may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you... And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." { from I Peter 5:6-10}

HOPE

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you ..." I Peter 1:3-4
